Russian PM signs order controlling life-saving drug markups
MOSCOW, Nov 22 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order on state control on markups on life-saving medicines on Monday.
"A government regulation on state control over price markups on such pharmaceuticals was signed in order not to create incentives for unjustified increase of their prices. The Federal Antimonopoly Service will check the documents on markup calculation by the regional healthcare authorities," Mishustin said.
He also said that under the plan, the checks will be held no more frequent than once every two years but extra investigations are possible.
